Rising Hope

The rising of the morning sun
assures the desperate of salvation.
If the light streams in,
unhindered by last night's failings,
then hope plays on
the horizon of the new day.

  4. Love the hopefulness of this optimistic piece. The length also contributes well to the idea that each day is a new start, a blank page.

  5. In the school of motherhood, each and every morning bring a dollops of enthusiasm to wash off yesterday -night failures ranging from feeding the baby or putting to sleep.

  7. Nice work here ... the cycle from day to day does, indeed reassure us that a new day brings a clean slate.

  11. Yes, we have been celbrating the return of the sun for hundreds of thousands of years now....imagine the relief after a night spent guarding the door of the cave from a snarling nocturnal T- rex, or the abundance of game and food that arrives on the heels of another harsh winter .....cheers mate
