I am twenty-four
And yet I need my mother
Standing by my side

  4. As the ladies have already shared, we all can use a mother's presence.

I've learned over the years that while a mother can be physically gone, her presence still lingers...in a smile, in a photo, in spirit, in my own features, in a memory, in something she made or gave. Her love is always there.

Such a sweet haiku you wrote. I love it.

We all need the wisdom of Mothers, not all are wise enough to realise it though.

  7. I agree with Lolly. Though my mother has been gone for sometime, her memories and things she taught me, will always be a part of who I am. Happy Mother's Day.
